Gabriella Opaz:
An award winning speaker and writer, I’ve co-founded one of the top Digital Communications Conferences in the wine industry, which tackles software and web design, digital marketing and communications, mobile, social media and e-commerce. I’m the co-founder of Catavino.net – a newly launched Portuguese and Spanish tourism company, as well as a TEDx consultant. Internationally, I’ve run trainings on effective communication through writing, public speaking, presenting and dialogue. I have a Masters in Education focused specifically on alternative learning and communication models, and a degree in Intercultural Communication.

David Santos: I am a creative polymath, someone with an insatiable curiosity to understand the world around me while researching for new ways to enhance innovation. I hold a Masters in Multimedia Culture and Art and a Bachelor’s in Theatre. I’ve worked as a Creative Copywriter at Ivity Brand Corp; a Conference Organiser of the TKB International Conference on “Multimodal Communication: Language, Performance and Digital Media”. Beyond words, I’ve been an Assistant Director and Movement Director at the National Theatre São João and Casa da Música; as well as taught at various Schools and Theaters. I’ve also directed and choreographed several plays and performances in both Germany and Portugal.

João Henriques: Voice has been the centre of my life since childhood. However it was never in my plans to become a voice professional, with work ranging from theatre, opera and teaching – in the development of the voice’s artistic and communicational skills. In 2002, I started working at the São João National Theatre, in Porto, as its resident voice coach, being involved in more than twenty-five new productions, to date. At the same time, I began teaching at Escola Superior de Música, Artes e Espetáculo, in Porto, and, since March 2015, at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, in Lisbon. My latest directorial work was Bella Bartok’s opera ‘Bluebeard’s Castle’, with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, at the Barbican Hall, in London. My academic credits include a Master degree in Teaching (Singing); two post-graduate degrees: one in Opera Directing (ESMAE, Porto) and the other one in Musical Theatre (RAM, London), both with category of Distinction; the LRAM diploma as Voice Teacher; a BA in Singing and Piano (ESML, Lisbon); and a BA in Political Science (ULHT, Lisbon).
